As Law seeks to address the challenges of the future, Vieira de Almeida (VdA) and NOVA School of Law launched WhatNext.Law – Researching the Future, on the occasion of the Conference WhatNext.Law. WhatNext.Law is a legal Research Centre aiming to shape the discussion and disseminate knowledge on legal issues related to the new demands of society, through studies, publications, workshops and scholarships.
Amongst the participants of the Conference were the Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Medina, the Managing Partner of VdA, João Vieira de Almeida, the Director of NOVA School of Law, Mariana França Gouveia, as well as Alice Charles, from the World Economic Forum. WhatNext.Law – Researching the Future aims to promote collaboration with different stakeholders from academia, the legal and business world, with the purpose of anticipating legal trends, identifying emerging legal challenges and contributing to the solutions, legal or otherwise, of the society of the future.
