This Call for Papers invites submissions for the WhatNext.Law Conference, which will take place in a hybrid format on February 3 and 4, 2023.
The boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds are becoming increasingly blurred. The fact that the Metaverse is now a buzzword is the most salient example of this. In the next decade, our love, laughter, work and leisure – in a word, our lives – will depend on finding the right mix of physical, digital, virtual and hybrid interactions.
The conference takes the city of the future and the Metaverse as a focal point as a prime example of the complex and interconnected social and legal issues that will increasingly define our lifestyles.
The topics that authors may explore are related to the theme ” Cities of the future and the Metaverse”.
Selected articles will be considered for a special issue of a European journal specialising in law and technology. Additional information will be provided based on the submitted articles.
