Annual Event Whatnext.Law | Innovation in the Cities of the Future

VdA and NOVA School of Law organized the Annual Event WhatNext.Law | Innovation in the Cities of the Future, which took place on November 7th, at the António de Magalhães Cardoso Auditorium.

The event counted with the participation of João Vieira de Almeida (Senior Partner), Magda Cocco (Partner) who moderated the debate on “Technologies and Cities of the Future” and Assunção Cristas (Of Counsel) who moderated the discussion on “Sustainability and the Cities of the Future”.
We had the honour to count on the presence of the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, who closed the event.

In a context of uncertainty and accelerated change, the centre’s annual event provided an opportunity for debate on the role of innovation in the transformation of cities and new trends linked to sustainability and technology. The conference also included the participation of António Câmara, Professor at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and Luís Neves, CEO of GeSI.
