We are pleased to present the fifth edition of our Insights Compendium, a publication that brings together the contributions developed throughout 2025 by the Researchers and Legal Movers of WhatNext.Law.

Throughout the year, we continued to explore the trends, challenges, and opportunities that are transforming society, the economy, and the law. Through a multidisciplinary and forward-looking approach, our researchers examined emerging topics and structural issues that are shaping the way we live, work, regulate, and innovate.

This compilation reflects a year of research, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, distilled into dozens of insights published across the centre’s various thematic cycles. Each contribution sought to stimulate debate, encourage critical reflection, and bring together different perspectives on the key issues that will shape the future.

More than a collection of content, this compendium represents WhatNext.Law’s commitment to the production and dissemination of relevant knowledge, contributing to a more informed understanding of ongoing transformations and their legal, economic, technological, and societal impacts.

We invite you to explore this compilation and revisit the insights that shaped 2025.
